Scott Williams is the current Chair of the Mechanical Services Division for the Master Plumbers and Mechanical Services Association of Australia. Scott has previously served as the CEO of the Air Conditioning & Mechanical Contractors’ Association for 5 years and the CEO for over 11 years of the Fire Protection Association Australia (FPAA).

He is a current Director of the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARCTick) and has held previous directorships and Board positions with the Plumbing Industry Climate Action Centre, Plumbing Joint Training Fund, Air conditioning and Refrigeration Building Services Exhibition (ARBS) and the Australian Construction Industry Forum. He also previously held positions on the Victoria Plumbing Advisory Committee and the Plumbing Special Advisory Panel to the Building and Plumbing Commission Commissioner.  

With over 20 years prior experience in the telecommunications industry working for major global companies like NEC, Panasonic and Lucent Technologies, Scott has a passion for emerging technology and innovation within the building services industry.

Scott is well-respected across the broader building services industry—including government, regulators, standards and code bodies, educators and other industry bodies, and with his extensive mix of experience and industry knowledge is determined to deliver innovative and practical outcomes to the industry.
